Darren Newmen

CEO & CTO
Kevin and Darren are Twin Brothers. They had entrepreneurial ideas when they were 6 years old. They tried to sell the Lego toys they made to their neighbors. They wished to have Robots and flying cars from Santa Claus when they were 7. Then, they started learning robot coding to make robots themselves with their parent's guidance.

Since 7 years old, they have made a car robot, a spider robot, a snake robot, a crane robot, a delivery dog robot, and a humanoid robot with Mindstorms Robot Inventor materials. They also made games with languages like Scratch, Python, C++, C#, etc. Some of those games, Roblox games called Fisks (a game of treasure hunting in a castle), Shatter (a game of collecting the energy orbs), and Fling Tower (a game of Fling) had attracted thousands of players from over 100 countries around the six continents. They also have over 2 million views for their game videos and shorts on YouTube.

They set up Robot Funland when they were 12 years old. They prepared everything themselves, including company logo design website, projects, and programs. They taught other kids about developing games and Robots.

They had a USA business and culture tour when they were 13 years old. They visited top universities like Stanford University and Berkeley as well as high-tech companies like Tesla, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Apple, and Microsoft. They also had a Chinese business and culture tour when they were about 14 years old. They visited top universities like Qing Hua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Jiao Tong University, and Zhejiang University, as well as high-tech companies like Baidu, Bytedance, Tencent, Suzhou Industrial Park, and Alibaba. The trips broadened their horizons and enriched their experiences.

They are targeting the development of many functional robots to help more people in the future. They also dream of creating physical Robot Funlands where more children can enjoy learning and exploring with guidance from elite mentors worldwide.
